Diontae Spencer was one of the top receivers in the Redblacks, and the CFL. The Redblacks announced on Friday that he was released to pursue NFL opportunities.

Spencer was 9th in the league in receiving yards with 1007 of them. He had 81 receptions for 7 touchdowns.

Spencer will go on to play with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
